On site with Inspire

CASE STUDY - A British manufacturer of high specification stainless steel equipment for some of the world’s most hazardous environments.

Objective - To align it’s business to compete for work under a national programme, in particular, an organisational culture to support it’s strategy

Approach - “To Develop a Killer Plan to Win Hearts & Minds”

Inspire worked with the organisation to help the company re-align , articulate and then implement its business strategy. Utilising a Cultural and Leadership diagnostic, to identify key challenges and priorities, Inspire delivered a series of workshops to assist the SLT to define a compelling Vision that the team could get behind and align to, and then, underpinned by Core Values, develop an internal strategy to effectively and consistently communicate these throughout the business and embed this cultural change throughout the organisation.

Further workshops were delivered with Middle Management and individual departments to embed and extend this culture throughout all teams to achieve multiple objectives.

The business has continued to have successful growth and is out-performing targets, and has become a leading player in the UK Nuclear Supply Chain and acclaimed winner of multiple awards.

CASE STUDY - A long established manufacturing company of 150 years, with a strong reputation.

Objective - following acquisition the business needed to regroup and stop focusing on how great they once were, and to be more forward looking. Setting key objectives and developing a strategy to achieve their growth ambitions was the first step, followed by the identification of an effective Culture within the business that would consistently deliver this strategy. The identification and creation of an effective leadership team capable of strong, visible leadership was central to transitioning the company into separate business units.

Approach - Inspire initiated their unique process of Cultural & Leadership Analysis through quantitative & qualitative data, online and via on-site workshops and in linking this directly to their identified growth strategy to define specific, measurable and targeted interventions. During the following 12 months a programme was delivered to define the organisation’s Vision, define the role and scope of the SLT, to include re-shaping into Strategic and Tactical, to re-structure the business into 2 key business units.

Now they have an empowered team, are enjoying success and looking forward to hitting £50m by 2023, and in addition are proud of who they are and what they can become, not just what they were.
